1. Age restriction

Laser hair removal treatment is available to clients aged 18 and over only. Proof of age (e.g. photo ID) may be requested. We reserve the right to refuse treatment if age cannot be verified.

2. Patch test

All new clients must undergo a patch test before their first full treatment. The patch test costs £20 and is redeemable against the cost of your first session. The patch test allows us to check your skin's reaction and set the laser to a safe and effective level for you; we reserve the right to decline or delay treatment based on its outcome.

3. Medical history and disclosure

Before treatment, you must complete our client record form and disclose all relevant medical history, medications, allergies, and skin conditions, including (but not limited to):

  • Pregnancy or breastfeeding
  • Active skin conditions (infections, rashes, open wounds)
  • Recent sunburn or fake tan, or recent significant sun exposure
  • Photosensitive or blood-thinning medications
  • Autoimmune or systemic conditions, or recent cosmetic procedures, surgery, or radiation therapy

Withholding relevant information increases the risk of adverse effects and may affect your results. We reserve the right to refuse or postpone treatment where, in our reasonable judgement, it would be unsafe to proceed.

4. Course of treatment and results

Laser hair removal targets hair in its active growth cycle, so a single session will not remove all hair in the treated area. Most clients require a course of multiple sessions, typically around 6–8, spaced at regular intervals as advised by your therapist.

Sessions should be kept broadly to the recommended schedule — leaving excessive gaps between sessions reduces effectiveness and may require additional sessions to achieve the same result. We do not guarantee a specific outcome or number of sessions required, as results vary depending on hair type, skin tone, hormonal factors, and adherence to pre- and post-treatment care.

5. Skin and hair colour

Treatment effectiveness and comfort depend partly on the contrast between hair colour and skin tone, as the laser targets pigment (melanin) in the hair follicle. Very light, grey, or colourless hair responds less well to treatment regardless of skin tone. Clients with darker skin tones may experience increased sensitivity or discomfort during treatment, as the laser also interacts with melanin in the skin itself. Our staff will assess your suitability and advise on realistic expectations during your consultation and patch test.

6. Pre- and post-treatment care

You will be given pre-treatment and post-treatment care guidance (for example on sun exposure, hair removal methods, and skincare products to avoid). Following this guidance is your responsibility. Failure to do so may increase the risk of complications such as burns, pigmentation changes, or scarring, and may reduce the effectiveness of your treatment.

7. Payments and packages

Treatment can be paid for per session or as a prepaid package covering multiple sessions.

Prepaid packages are valid for 12 months from the date of purchase. Any unused sessions remaining after this period will expire automatically and cannot be refunded, extended, exchanged for cash, or reinstated.

Packages and individual sessions are non-transferable between clients and non-refundable once purchased, except where required by law.

8. Right to refuse or postpone treatment

We reserve the right to refuse, postpone, or stop a treatment at our discretion, including where a relevant contraindication is present or undisclosed, where a patch test result indicates it is unsafe to proceed, or where continuing the treatment could pose a risk to health and safety.

9. Liability

Laser hair removal carries some risk of side effects, including but not limited to temporary redness, swelling, hyperpigmentation, hypopigmentation, blistering, and in rare cases scarring, burns, or skin infection. By proceeding with treatment, you acknowledge these risks and confirm that you have had the opportunity to ask our staff for guidance.

We take all reasonable precautions to ensure your safety but cannot guarantee results or specific outcomes. Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or any other liability that cannot be excluded under UK law.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time, for example to reflect changes in regulation or our pricing structure. The current version in force is the one published on this page at the time of your purchase or treatment.
